These teamsters are shameless thugs.

It's so hypocritical that Democrats who complained about Halliburton now dont seem to give a flip.

Well McJosh,

I intended it as metaphorical, spoofing Tom Hank's "Pacific" series, and tying November to crats getting massacred on the beach heads. Unfortunately, some people took my "battleground" and "targeted district" language as more than metaphorical and started telling me how they actually wanted to start killing people. So yes, I took it down. Granted, Mike Ramirez can be bloodier in his cartoons, but I can save it for another time.

At any rate, let's do that to the crats by mowing them out of office at the polls. That is the preferable democracy; shaming the crats.

So what, do you think that gives you the right to just take down whatever you want with unlimited power and cripple our first amendment right of free speech as defined by the Constitution of the United States of America?

A lot of good people had written comments on that page for the very purpose that they might find a voice for their political beliefs. Now that you've decided you have veto power over the first amendment, I guess that doesn't really matter anymore.

McJosh,

Well, yes Josh, it does give me that right. Superseding that is my right to personal property and intellectual material also protected by the Constitution in Article 1 Section 8. In fact, it is a right I owned to begin with as this is my site. When one pays the hosting fees, BMI licensing fees, and spend hours producing copywritten material, one tends to consider liability as it pertains to someone doing something rash after visiting one's site. I don't wanna be the next Daily Kos, where Markos Moulitsas wished death on Americans in Iraq, for example, and then it comes true.

I get a flurry of death threats all the time from people that say they will shoot me and back over me with a bus, but I'm not really afraid, as liberal males are effeminate and most can't operate a firearm if their latte depended on it. If such threats were directed at me, then I could care less and would probably post them for your amusement.

Lastly, I am starting to get cues that my site is quite literally being "watched," as some folks in power don't like artists on the other side. Just remember you've never seen my inbox.

Honestly this is the first one I have removed, and don't plan on making a habit of it. If it's that big of a deal to you, I can send you the toon as I have it still on file.

Chill out man. We can win this. The healthcare bill's passage actually induced physical sickness hours before it was passed. I had the dry heaves! I know what you're feeling, but just know I'm there with you man.

Keep the faith,

It's a slippery slope, Drake. You say it's your right to do what you want with comments because it's your site, just like Obama says he can silence any and all voices of protesters because it's his country (Which isn't really the case since he was born in Iran).

And yes, I'd appreciate it if you sent me that comic too. You can reach me at jodabobo@gmail.com (yes I know google is a liberal website but I had my nephew set up this email for me). Thanks.

No, it is not the same as the president silencing those that oppose him... First off, Drake has no power over national policies and no one voted for him to run this website.

Second off, are you kidding me... violating your first amendment? This goes under terms of service that by posting on this website, we concede all ownership of what we say on this website... If you were paying for the bandwidth, reimbursing Drake for his time, and owned the domain name that is used, then you might have a say or a contractual agreement with Drake.

Until then this is his house and we are guest, while it is a nice house of like-minded people we have to remember that.
