I wonder, as a related note, if techie gadgets have bolstered interest in civics or dampened it...?

Let's not forget that Obama is implementing many of John McCain's plans. The very SAME plans he bashed John McCain for. Not only that but we have Republicans (only 1 in some cases) voting for these bills that Obama is lathered up about. We ALSO have Newt endorsing a Republican who is more liberal than the Democratic candidate. Lets quit pretending that the Republicans represent a choice.

True, but McCain did not consider himself a citizen of the world, wanted a League of Democracies to replace the UN, and to drill and go nuclear. Wasn't the best choice, but if it DID devolve into liberalism it would do so less forcefully. Besides, when I voted Republican I was voting for Palin.

Drake - True. I voted for Palin as well. She was the only Republican I did vote for. Let's keep in mind that while he was not a world citizen, he did vote for and push for the stimulus. Who though would have stood against him when he pushed for cap-n-trade? We would have seen that and it would have been in a form that may just have gotten passed. It still would have been a bad idea. We might have even seen a very watered down version of health care. I mean the medicare prescription thing came flying straight out of the blue. And don't forget Newt on the Laura Ingram show stumping for a REPUBLICAN candidate that is MORE LIBERAL than the democrat that she is running against in New Your... That is where the Republican party is. It is a party that I have very little interest in attending.

Great art and conceptualization as always.

The real disconnect is that McCain is at least as much of a fascist-authoritarian as the Obots.

Consider the RNC in StPaul-- what a gestapofest that was inside and outside the Xcel center! I was there.

And by the way, both Palin and McCain supported Cap&Trade.

So its a wonderful cartoon, just need to change the captions somehow.

Sarah Palin expressed doubts in the debate that global warming was anthropogenic, and said that IF WE DO sign such treaties, they should bear other nations in mind and their responsibility too, which Cap and Tax as she calls it, does not.

Found your blog following a link for Christian artwork & images... loved this one, and the U.N. goon was a nice touch. I'm 100% anti-UN, like so many libs they're an ungodly bunch of commie jackboots. Speaking of jackboots, E.W. Johnson is correct about both side being so fascist and authoritarian, which is why I voted for Ron Paul. Oh, and it wasn't a wasted vote because it was an informed one and according to my conscience, which is what counts IMHO.

When it comes to global warming, we know that these trends come & go. I just cant stand to see people pretend to be scientific and make suppositions based on things that cannot be proven or worse, on faulty logic. Anthropogenic warming is a myth propagated for purely political purposes: to control us, to force us to live like slaves on the global plantation. And both parties are part of the problem: http://minutemanpatriot.homestead.com/BNP_merger.swf

Oh, by the way guys, there's a great patriotic rock band out there called Pokerface. www.pokerface.com check em out and stay frosty!
