A word to all of you out there: I may ignore your chat on FB, or I might not post cartoons on time for a while, but I will sure as hell try. All of you have no idea how much I appreciate each and every one of you. Your compliments, your support, and encouragement are the daily soul food that puts wings on my feet when I stumble, and puts jollies in my heart. Those kind donations you drop in my tip jar serve to buy illustration tools and the coffee that fuels the creative binges. Pens, computer RAM, laser toner, electric bills, larger monitors, iTunes song downloads, and more are all a product of what you have done for me. Thank you. Thank you all. And in spite of my current poverty, you bring me a richness of experiences that a wise Latina would envy. While I will have to put the ego first and figure out what the heck I’m going to do about this whole no-work-no-money jamb, I will push, strive, burn midnight oil, and try my best to be there for you guys in the way you have always been for me.
By the grace of God, for what it’s worth…at least I’m not a Democrat.
